Well I thought I should start a new journal to update everyone on the happenings of Universal Love Attack as well as what's going on in my world. So I found out what the event is called. Ipanema presents Fade To Black. Sunday December 28th, 2003 The Reverb 10pm - 6am cover $8 with a flyer $10 without Main Room featuring Osaze & Duave Jungle Room featuring DJ's Sky & Izik Universal Love Attack on around midnight I said that this show was all ages but I have found out that it is not. hey everyone, Once again Universal Love Attack has a show and I will be playing bass. Last time was a blast and the show was great. Electro Boutique...
Thank you to everyone that came out for this wonderful evening. Big thank you to Billy X and company for giving us this great gig. Everything went great, the show went really well, and the three of us had a blast doing it. The music from the DJ's was great. All in all an evening of good times. So every Saturday night Electro Boutique will be taking place at 1 Jarvis St. (Charlies is the name of the bar.) in other news... a new version of the website is up. It is not complete yet but will be in the next few days. most of it is coming soon, but it will be updated pretty much everyday from now until it gets done. Vegasphere live
Hey everyone, Vegasphere will be playing a special gala opening for Electro Boutique. A new club located at 1 Jarvis St. Toronto, this Saturday October 4th. The doors for the evening will be openiong at 9pm. We hit the stage around midnight and will be playing for about a half an hour. Should be quite the show. DJ's for the evening are DJ Gio, DJ Hanna, and DJ EM all spinnning electropop, synthpop, futurepop, EBM and New Wave. Champagne and Hors d'oeuvres will be served courtesy of Beats & Bites. Hope to see you all there... In other News, Dave will be joining Universal Love Attack on stage Thursday November 6th 2003 Universal Love Attack Savage Garden, 550 Queen St. W. Semi Finals!!!!
Friday, May 9th, 2003 Semi-Finals of the Emergenza Festival (very important) the Reverb Vegasphere on at 8:00pm sharp until 8:25pm tickets adv. $15 - at the door $20 this is a voting process show. When we finish our show everyone in the audience that likes us raises there hands and a count is taken. then at the end of the evening whoever has the most votes wins and goes to the finals which will be held at the Opera house at a later date. the Winner of the finals goes to Europe and plays at a Festival over there. Semi-Finalists!!
just to keep everyone informed... Vegasphere have moved on to the semi-finals in the Emergenza Festival, which will be held at the Big Bop sometime in late March early April. Vegasphere @ Emergenza Festival Competition!!
a little bit of news in the Vegasphere front.... Thursday, January 9th, 2002 Vegasphere will be performing live at the Rivoli in part of the Emergenza Festival competition. There will be 8 bands playing that evening and after each band plays a vote will be taken through the audience and the best 4 bands will move onto the next round which will be held at the Big Bop at a later date. If we end up making it through all the levels of the toronto competition we will end up playing at the main air Taubertal Festival in Germany in August 2003. We really would like everyone to circle this date on there calendar and try there best to make it out to the evening's event. We need everyone there to vote for us so we can make it onto the next level. We have tickets for sale which are $12.00 each and can be purchased through any band member. Every day is NOT Halloween - thank god
Thanks to all who attended our show last nite at the Velvet Underground. We apologize for the long line outside of the club in the cold and the nasty sound our P.A. screamed at you all. For those of you who have seen us before, you know we are capable of a better sounding show and for those of you who experienced us live for the first time I can assure you that what you heard last night was not a proper representation of our live show...please give us another shot. A very special 'spank you' to Terry Chaves for helping to put out some last minute fires and getting us through the gig. And thank you to all the staff at the Velvet who gave their time and energy.
